Week 3:
Movin' and Groovin'
This week in Movin' and Groovin' we are still focusing on the feet but we are adding a few more steps using our heels. We are also dancing to Dora and Alvin and the Chipmunks!
Rock and Rollers
This week in Rock and Rollers we are reviewing how to do bridges and learning a few steps to a condensed version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller"!!! We will also play a game of freeze dance at the end of class if there is time!
About Me
- Kayla Owens
- Hello, my name is Kayla Owens and I am 19 years old. I have been with Kids R Kids since June, 2008 and I have worked with every age group. Right now I am teaching a dance and gymnastics class to the toddlers and preschoolers and a class called Rock and Rollers to the school aged children after school for two days a week. I really have a passion for dance and gymnastics because I was a cheerleader and a gymnast for 9 years and practically lived at the gym. I also love working with children and I plan to make a career out of it. I went to Miami University for a semester in the fall last year and I plan on going back there in the winter and majoring in Early Childhood Education.
