Week 15:
Dance/Gymnastics
This week in Dance/Gymnastics we are warming up to winter by dancing with scarves to "Walking In a Winter Wonderland" and we are also making it snow with handmade snowflakes to "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow". The preschool aged children also played a "Magical Mittens" game with mittens that make you dance when you put them on.
Rock and Rollers
This week in Rock and Rollers we reviewed the "Cha Cha Slide, the "Cupid Shuffle", and the "Electric Slide". We also improvised the balance beam by putting a line of tape on the floor and the children walked, did lunges, did leg lifts, and did cartwheels on the line.

- Kayla Owens
- Hello, my name is Kayla Owens and I am 19 years old. I have been with Kids R Kids since June, 2008 and I have worked with every age group. Right now I am teaching a dance and gymnastics class to the toddlers and preschoolers and a class called Rock and Rollers to the school aged children after school for two days a week. I really have a passion for dance and gymnastics because I was a cheerleader and a gymnast for 9 years and practically lived at the gym. I also love working with children and I plan to make a career out of it. I went to Miami University for a semester in the fall last year and I plan on going back there in the winter and majoring in Early Childhood Education.
