Week 19
Dance/Gymnastics
This week in dance and gymnastics we hopped on different colored hearts in the toddler rooms. In the preschool rooms we played "Musical Hearts" which is like "Musical Chairs" except with hearts, we played "Hugging Freeze Dance", and we played a game called "Sweetheart Dance"!
Rock and Rollers
This week in Rock and Rollers we practiced line dances for the Spring Showcase, we played "Gymnastics Hangman", and we played "Freeze Dance"!
About Me
- Kayla Owens
- Hello, my name is Kayla Owens and I am 19 years old. I have been with Kids R Kids since June, 2008 and I have worked with every age group. Right now I am teaching a dance and gymnastics class to the toddlers and preschoolers and a class called Rock and Rollers to the school aged children after school for two days a week. I really have a passion for dance and gymnastics because I was a cheerleader and a gymnast for 9 years and practically lived at the gym. I also love working with children and I plan to make a career out of it. I went to Miami University for a semester in the fall last year and I plan on going back there in the winter and majoring in Early Childhood Education.
