Week 7:
Movin' and Groovin'
This week in Movin' and Groovin' we did some more gymnastics! We worked on our rolls some more with the toddlers and the preschool children and we also worked more on our cartwheels in with the preschool children as well.
Rock and Rollers
This week in Rock and Rollers we practiced the "Thriller" dance some more. The Halloween party is right around the corner and the children would like to perform "Thriller" for their classmates, parents, and teachers at their Halloween Party!
About Me
- Kayla Owens
- Hello, my name is Kayla Owens and I am 19 years old. I have been with Kids R Kids since June, 2008 and I have worked with every age group. Right now I am teaching a dance and gymnastics class to the toddlers and preschoolers and a class called Rock and Rollers to the school aged children after school for two days a week. I really have a passion for dance and gymnastics because I was a cheerleader and a gymnast for 9 years and practically lived at the gym. I also love working with children and I plan to make a career out of it. I went to Miami University for a semester in the fall last year and I plan on going back there in the winter and majoring in Early Childhood Education.
